If you’re running big tires and have your fender liner removed, it wont take you long to realize that the factory location of the wiper fluid reservoir is not only a major eye sore but its also in a spot where it could get damaged buy rocks/debri or from the tire itself.
This kit will relocate your wiper fluid reservoir from behind your passenger tire to to behind the grill. This will allow more clearance for a larger tire and wont be an terrible eyesore like it is in the factory locations.
The wiper fluid reservoir is made with 1/8” thick aluminum, making it heavy duty and very durable. The reservoir utilizes the same factory grommet and pump out of the factory wiper fluid container. The reservoir bolts to pre-existing holes in a pre existing crossmember behind the grill. The mounting locations ensures the reservoir does not block any air flow into the radiator.
NOTE: This kit will NOT work with any frontier that has the Active Grille Shutters. The only want to get the wiper fluid reservoir to fit is to remove the Active Grille Shutters, doing so will cause a “Check Engine” light. We will notify when a workaround for this becomes available
